Lezte Woche haben wir viel getan. Michi und ich haben am letzten Donnerstag den Zoo Zürich besucht. Fotos haben wir gemacht, aber ich habe sie vergessen! Wir waren auch während des Nationalfeiertages in der Stadt und haben ein paar Fotos gemacht, die ihr schon gesehen habt. Am letzten Samstag war der Tag der Street Parade, aber wir haben die Parade nicht wirklich gefeiert.

We did a lot last week. Michi and I visited the Zurich Zoo. We took photos, but I have forgotten about them! During the Swiss National Day, we were also in the city and took a couple of photos, which you have already seen. Last Saturday was the day of the Street Parade, but we did not really celebrate that.
I didn’t write this post in English last time, but I should remember to do that from now on.

Gesehen: Gravity 2013 (auch zu lächerlich)
Gestrickt: nichts, was fertig ist
Getan: den Zoo Zürich besucht, eine Diät
Gewünscht: 2013 Kingston und 2014 Coco Langham-Bären aus Melbourne
Gefreut: über Memebox Aloe Vera, die einfach geil ist
Geärgert: über meinen Lieblingspostbote

What did I get up to from last Wednesday until today?

Bought: Memebox No Makeup Makeup, Memebox Herbal Cosmetics, a llama plush from Zürich Zoo, Nici macaw plush, etc…
Read: a little bit from Sommerflirt mit Folgen (completely ridiculous story)
Listened: Beethoven: Symphony No.5 in C Minor
Watched: Gravity 2013 (also too ridiculous)
Knitted: nothing which is finished
Done: visited Zürich Zoo, went on a diet
Wished: for 2013 Kingston and 2014 Coco Langham Bears from Melbourne
Pleased: with Memebox Aloe Vera, which is simply awesome
Annoyed: at my favourite parcel delivery man

Ich habe die Idee zwar von einem anderen Blog “geklaut”, aber ich mache den Posten am Mittwoch statt am Sonntag. Ich weiss, “statt” muss man mit Genitiv benutzen, aber ich sag es lieber mit Dativ.
Ich schätze, dass ich diese Woche kaum erledigen würde, weil ich einfach faul und krank bin. Ich hatte gestern Heuschnupfen und das war richtig unangenehm.
Michi hat gesagt, dass ich den nächsten Deutschkurs besuchen solle. Hmm…

Gesehen: viele britische Sendungen (Commonwealth Games, BBC News)
Gespielt: Magic Piano mit dem iPad
Gemacht: noch einen Teddybearpullover
Getan: viele Blythe-Puppendinge organisiert (und gelagert)
Gewünscht: einen Ara Nici Plüschtier und Memeboxen
Gefreut: über die regnerischen Sommertage, auf Bestellungen von Deutschland
Geärgert: über mich, weil ich in letzter Zeit spät aufgestanden bin

I opened up the envelope and found photos inside. They’re very arty, I thought. I could put them on my pinboard for display. I had not yet made THE connection with them.. Keep reading. 😀

I then opened the Spongebob present. I really love this paper, I’m nuts!

It's a cloth bag! Purple!!

Once I saw the material, I instantly knew what it was, a reusable bag! Oh it’s so purple and pretty. I really love collecting bags like these. I should really use more of them, but they’re too pretty to soil. I do use some of mine to store toys. That way, I get to use them and keep them clean. I am sure this one is destined to hold my stuffed toys in Zurich. Thank you Samantha! 🙂

Here’s the funny thing. While looking at the photos again, I actually spotted one that looked familiar… Then I found more and more that looked familiar. Could these be clues to all my gifts?! And I had not opened this until Day 7! I’m kicking myself.

You can see the heart bag has been photographed up close! I also found one of the Texas magnet, NYC polish, calendars, and manicure set. I think I’m missing the bubble bath, it could be the white flower or the gradient purple photo. Also the bracelet, that could be the blue one, second from the pile below. I’m not sure yet. Omigosh… Samantha, you’ve outdone yourself. I am in awe at the lengths you went to, to put all of this together.

I can now tell that I’ll be getting something knitted perhaps? And there’s something with a strawberry coming up… such fun!! 😀
